So far I’ve made tomatoes and pasta, and a simple tomato soup – I love this time of year, when recipes can consist of instructions like ‘chop tomatoes and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Toss with hot pasta and a dash of olive oil. Serve immediately.’
