In Which a Grievous Sin of Omission is Remedied.

Dear Readers,

I left someone off of my blogroll who shoulda oughta been there for a long time now. I read her blog very regularly and always enjoy her writing and her projects.

Meet Kis-Knit.

Kis-Knit is inspirational – I am knitting Silvanus because I heard about it on her blog.

Kis-Knit is ambitious. 74 ends to weave in For a scarf!

Kis-Knit is funny. I want Noro too.

Kis-Knit is charitable. Remember all those hats? Her fault. 😉

Kis-Knit loves Halloween as much as I do.

Kis-Knit has a stash that gives me jealousy issues.

Kis-Knit – mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.   You’re on my blogroll now.

Death be Not Proud  (Holy Sonnets: X)

by John Donne

Death be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not so,
For, those, whom thou think’st, thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poore death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleepe, which but thy pictures bee,
Much pleasure, then from thee, much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee doe goe,
Rest of their bones, and soules deliverie.
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poyson, warre, and sicknesse dwell,
And poppie, or charmes can make us sleepe as well,
And better then thy stroake; why swell’st thou then;
One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally,
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die.
