I had a blast at the fiber expo – I’ve got a fair number of photo’s, and am organizing them into a photo essay on Flickr right now – look for that in a few days. I took a spinning class, a sock class, met lots of interesting people, and bought some fiber.
And I finished the first mitten and cast on for the second.

Oh, that purple fiber is lush! Where did you get it? Waiting excitedly to see it spun up.
The purple fiber is a merino silk blend that was in my spinning class goodie bag – I have about 2 oz, since my husband also took the class and got the goodie bag, but isn’t spinning because he hasn’t got a wheel yet. Being a spindler has it’s advantages sometimes!
