This is the last of the carrot harvest from our garden this year. Red Dragon carrots — they’re orange inside, but have a vivid intense un-sweet carroty taste that leaves grocery store carrots in the dust.
And I cast on for a pair of plain mittens – I got Ann Budd’s book “The Knitter’s Handy Book of Patterns”.
