Zabet from the AntiCraft leaned over Stephanie’s shoulder back in May, and took a fantastic video of her knitting style. I’ve watched it once, and next time (and next and next and next time) am going to watch it with knitting in hand, trying to learn how to knit a little more efficiently on dpns.
I think the main trick for me will be to learn how to carry my yarn over a finger – right now I sort of pinch my working yarn between thumb and forefinger to tension it, then catch it under my middle finger to loop around for the stitches. Holding tension and knitting with the same digit will something new.
EDIT: I’ve corrected the video link – it now points directly at the blog post with the video story/link, rather then at the main page of the blog. Sorry!
I’m so frustrated – the link doesn’t work for me and I want to see how Harlot Does It —
Hrm. I thought I’d linked directly to the blog post with the video link it – apparently not. Sorry about that.
Here’s the link directly to the post.

The video is actually pretty scary. Even slowed down, I can’t imagine that actual human hands can knit that fast!
