I’ve found the pattern I’ll use for my holiday dish cloths this year – The King Charles Brocade dishcloth, from the Dishcloth Boutique.
I’ve already got some yarn – skeins of Lion and Sugar n Cream in red, white and green. I will probably need to get more yarn, depending on how many dishcloths I can work up per skein – I know that I can crochet two dishcloths from a large skein of cotton, so (given the crochet uses more yarn then knitting) I should be able to knit two. I want to make nine cloths total, three in each colour, so I’ll probably need one more skein of each.
And I need to get a skein of thin cotton for the star ornament I want to try and make.
