Not really the most appropriate name for this project, but I like it. The lace is coming along – the likely-hood of my finishing this by the end of August is minimal, but it is coming along.
Here she is in all her ten repeat glory:
Note the lifelines at the end of every pattern repeat. I am getting about a repeat per inch, and am aiming for 36 pattern repeats for this panel — when the panel is done, I’ll knit on a wave pattern edging, then block the dickens out of it. I think I may need to block it lightly before adding the edging though, so the selvedges are clear for me to work with.
