One blue fish later, I am even more in love with this pattern.
I used Iris’ copy of the pattern, and knitted this up in my playwithit yarn (Red Heart worsted) — I look forward to knitting it in some yarn that is not quite so icky too touch. I think that this skein of Red Heart is going into the Bee’s craft drawer as soon as I can replace it.
Oh – the Bee, aka Bridget. My daughter – six years old, and very interested in my knitting. She promptly claims most swatches I make for doll cloths, etc. So far she’s tried her hand at the needles twice, producing some massive tangles of yarn and a great deal of frustration. One of these days, though, it’ll click.
