Works in Progress
Stuff that’s on the needles right now.
Stephanie Pearl-McPhee’s Snowdrop Shawl:
KnitPicks Bare merino laceweight, 4mm circulars, pattern from the Yarn Harlot - available as a pdf in her sidebar.
Pattern from Hello Yarn. Worked in Suri Merino, possibly the worlds most impractical mitten yarn ever, but it’s what he picked. Size 3 dpn. He loves the pattern - he loves the yarn. The only problem? It’s the wrong size. To be inherited by the Bee when finished, and meanwhile I try to figure out how to up the size for him.
SRK Ovation Kid Mohair and Silk yarn, on 4.5 mm circulars. Arches and Columns pattern from Crystal Palace Yarns, via Straw.com.
A baby blanket:
A tesselating fish afghan:
Mission Falls 1820 superwash, size 8 needles, the pattern from Iris.
A red scarf. Farrow rib on size 7 needles, Caron One Pound acrylic.
KFI Gaelic Aran - this is a heavy worsted superwash wool from England - as in made in England from English sheep, apparently. Standard ribbed scarf, size 10 and half needles.
Stella Maris:

A scarf for the August 2006/Lolita project for Knit the Classics. Sorta not exactly really kinda my own design. KnitPicks Alpaca cloud in Tide Pool colourway, size four needles. Still not done as of 5/2007.
