How not to finish a sock.

1. Cast on 72 stitches.  check
2. Knit 8 inches of k2,p2 ribbing.  check
3. Knit a heel flap.  check
4. Turn the heel.
5. Pick up the gusset stitches.  check
6. Knit 7.5 inches plain stockinette.  *
7. Decrease for toe.
8. Graft toe.
9. Weave in ends.

*Knit 5 rounds, measure sock, realize heel looks funny.   Curse.  Rip back sock.
